This article brought me back in time. My company owned a very fancy film-video editing and compositing system that ran on SGI. I remember the dealer chiding me on how I was now graduating to a “real computer” (SGI) as opposed to the toys I was using (Mac). He is now an Apple dealer… funny how things change.
